New Purple Orchid Jewelry

I'm rewarding my blog followers with my first photos of my latest creations. The camera battery needed to be recharged before I could finish.
The detail photo is of the necklace beadwork. I combined right angle weave and peyote plus my lacy edging. The bracelet detail is similar, but not the same.
The color combination is from Margie Deeb's Fall Color Report. They are Purple Orchid, Rose Dust and Oyster Gray in approximately a 50-30-20 ratio.

  1. Beautiful, I love the colors and that ruffle on the necklace is so sweet. Looking forward to seeing your new items!

  2. Karen, regarding your FLICKR photos. For my part, I really like having the option to look at specific types of your work. I most like to wear bracelets and appreciate being able to look at just those, knowing I can come back and look at more later.

  3. Christine, thank you. I was surprised at how nicely the colors went together in the right ratios. I'll put them on etsy, flickr and facebook later this weekend.
JoAnn on FLICKR, the items I have written descriptions on have tags which always include the item type (bracelet, etc.). Some how we must be able to search on them. I'll get back to you on how to do this. The slide show feature (which can be paused) is the best way to quickly view items. Flickr is not meant to be a commercial or sales site. If you want to see more bracelets, try the Etsy-Beadweavers on FLICKR I post my Challenge entries there, but others post more items.
